Hello, I’m Sherri. A Maryland-based nature photographer and lover of all things creative. As a child I spent most of my time exploring the outdoors, climbing trees and building forts with my brother. If kept indoors too long I would express my creative energy by doodling the things I had seen outside on anything and everything within reach. My creative outlets have changed over the years but my muse remains this beautiful wild world God created. You can often find me on a mountain, in a forest, sailing or exploring local and National Parks. As a believer in Christ I am not only fascinated by nature for what it is but also for the reflection of God’s character within it. The Hebrew verb bara translates to “create” and the book of Genesis reveals that everything God created was good. It Was Good Images encourages you to explore God’s creation and simply be still. It is through this practice that I have been able to truly observe the world around me and feel closely connected with our creator.
